Corning Cooktop

Corning Cooktop

Here is a typical discolored Corning glass top. Corning was the first to introduce such a top back in the 1980's; it came with cookware because normal cookware was not flat enough to conduct much heat. Even with the cookware, folks were not very happy with the heating and cooking quality. Today's glass is greatly improved and very quick to heat up even with normal pots.
